Bulk Pickup Service

 

Bulk pickup service happens on Fridays in the morning. To keep unsightly piles of rubbish from sitting out all week long, bulk trash (furniture, appliances, etc.) should be put out on Thursdays.

 

Toilet bowls, sinks, and water heaters are OK for regular pickup. Carpet is OK too, as long as it is cut up into four-foot squares and does not exceed two cubic yards in volume. Solid Waste Authority allows up to 2 cubic yards of bulk trash to be put out to each dumpster area each week and larger piles will require special pickup, at additional expense.

 

Construction and demolition debris (lumber, sheetrock, kitchen cabinets, etc.) will require special pickup at additional cost. Large pieces of glass will also require special pickup, unless the glass is broken up placed into sealed boxes or bags.
